Life is unpredictable and can hit you hard sometimes. Back in May I was relieved of my job (had that position for 23 years) and it was a shock to say the least. I had to put the podcast on hold and really ponder which direction I wanted to go. Thankfully I have gained full-time employment doing what I really like, and that is working on bikes. As a full-time mechanic (technician for the modernists), I see and hear all sorts of things. People treat the hallowed ground of the bike shop as a confessional sometimes, others treat it like the magical place it is. It's where dreams of a good experience on wheels are built up and realized.
So, to transition away from a mind-numbing corporate job to an outlet that brings joy to people every day has been a life blessing. Follow along for weekly stories and tales from the workbench. If you enjoy this type of jam, please forward it to your friends. I would really appreciate it.
Thank you for your support.

Have a great day and tell someone "thank you," then get back to your coffee.
